RULES & REGULATIONS

GENERAL

• Respect the rules as well as others around you at all times. As a close knit group both in character and out of character, drama coming from a single user is not tolerated.

• There is a set age limit of 13+ years. This is to ensure situtations are handled maturely by all members. Some content within the roleplay may be PG13. If you are younger than 13 and still wish to participate, please speak with one of the council members.

• Participation is key. When joining the pack, it is expected of you to participate in both roleplay and out of character conversation. Inacitivty will result in demotion or removal from the pack.

• All rules apply to visitors and guests of the pack as well as normal members. Please keep this in mind.

OUT OF CHARACTER

• If you are idling or are away, please be sure to say so by telling everyone you are going AFK OOC.

• Cursing and adult language is to be kept at a PG13 rating at all times.

• Keep in mind about what conversations you bring up. Topics on religion, politics, death, or anything of the sorts is to be kept to a minimum to avoid causing drama and arguments.

• If conflict within the channel rises, please allow a council member to handle it.

IN CHARACTER

• Activity plays a huge roll within the pack. As said before, once joining, you are expected to keep a steady flow of activity. A Leave of Absense can be posted to avoid confusion on where you might have gone.

• Literacy is key. Please avoid using 'Wolf speak' or chat speak within the channels. Also, please keep the language within both IC and OOC to English, as msot of us are from English speaking countries.

• Godmodding and powerplaying is forbidden. You have no control over another person's character. Situations must always be left open for another person to reply. The only time control can be taken over a character is if the user happens to log off without a finishing post, therefore they have 'wanderd off' or 'fell asleep.'

• All roleplaying is done in third person. To avoid confusion, posting orders are made. Please stick to these orders.

• Time, weather, and seasons go along with real time. 1 hour in roleplay is 1 hour in real life. A wiget can be found on the website for further information on the time withinthe roleplay as well as the weather.

• Major plots that involve death, fights between characters, encounters with predators and anything of the sorts are to be taken up with a council member before happening.

RANKS

• Ranks are given out according to the desires of the roleplayer as well as their activity levels. Promotion may happen if the player is active enough and demotion is caused by lack of attendence and participation.

• The assessment rank is given to those who wish to join the pack but are unfamiliar with roleplaying, the pack, and the ways of the pack. Activity is important here. Once the player has proven themselves, promotion may occur. At any time does the council have the right to remove the assessment title from a user.

• Council ranks are given to those who have shown themselves worthy. They play an important part with maintaining the pack. Council ranks are also decided by a player's character and what rank they hold. The council is made up by high ranking players. All high ranks are chosen both IC and OOC as seen fit.

• If you are going to be away for awhile, please alert a council member of your Leave of Absense to avoid later confusion, but also to let us know where you're headed off to.

RELATIONSHIPS

• Characters age in real time. This is important for younger characters to document development.

• Clones or 'secondary characters' and given to those who are active and participate often. Clones may have relationships with primary characters. However, contact between a clone and the player's primary character are to be kept to a minimum to avoid 'roleplaying with yourself'. Please speak with a council member before bringing in a secondary character.

• Secondary characters are to be brought in under a seperate username and are to join into the posting order rather than posting under the same nickname. This is to avoid confusion within the roleplay.

• Other animals are only to be played if approved by the council for a plot or any other circumstance.

• Please keep characters to natural colours/sizes. While this may be semi-realism, character concepts are to be kept as realistic as possible.

• While we do enjoy interesting characters, please  stick to realism. A blind, deaf wolf would be dead in the wild. Limitations are set realistically to the way you create your character and cannot vanish suddenly one day. Keep this in mind when making your character.

• Character bonds (courtship, mateship, adoption, spiritual bonds) are taken seriously and are rarely dissolved. These are not things to jump into right away and happen to take time. No wolf under the age of 1 year may enter any of these bonds.

• Courtship and mateship is also taken seriously. Approval is needed by the council before it is 'official'. Courtships and mateships are not to be entered or dissolved in haste and require both IC bonds and OOC bonds.

• Breeding is not to be done outside of breeding season (late winter months). The breeding pair must be mates and both characters must be over the age of 2 years.

• The breeding pair is responsible for the amount of pups they wish to have as well as finding players. Pregnancy is to last 63 days, giving the player plenty of time. Any pups after 4 weeks of birth without players are considered deceased.
