SCENERY & CLIMATE

Living in the usually tourist vacant isles of Alaska, most nature here in the terrian is untouched by human pests with the exception of a near by national park and town.

'Central' as its called by most, is the epidome of all hussle and bustle inside of the ADEODATUS sanctuary, a near by stream always trinkles a steady flow of refreshing mountain water from the near by peaks, surrounding most of the enclosing surroundings. All dens and nests form a rectangular shapre around central from highest to low ranking counter clock wise. Boulders used for shelter are barely withered with age, only slight water damage is apparent on all of the cavern stones. Just past the dwelling of the Guardian, the darkened treeline looms nearby to hunting grounds and human civilzation; which comes at the danger of hunters.

While hunting wolves is illegal on all Kodiak Islands, many other creatures such as bears, geese, and caribou are free game; a chance of encountering traps, broken glass and other hazardous items are always found scattered around carelessly. Because of this, no seers or younglings are allowed to go out of camp bounds until initiation.

Dangling from sharpened and anicent rocks of the Shaman refuge are an array of feathers, elder bark and different hued leaves for spiritual and herbal cleansing. In the winter seasons, specifically damp and bright red colors are selected on display to signify the start of the breeding season as to the ADEODATUS, it is the color of fertility.

Spring and Summer both adorn green to honor and reminscience on 'the hunt' which Tai blessed many years ago.

A crisped tree from a striken by a bolt of lightning from mother of the world rests over top of the combined solider and seer dens; this log is still used today to make announcements and used as a playground for the youn; covered in teething marks and blessings for the passed elders sacredly.

As for climate, most days can be rainy and partly cloudy with a distinctive chill and this atmosphere borders freezing tempatures on the occasion in winter months but at high noon in early summer and spring, everything is a flurry of green and glimmering orange light fluttering in through swaying tree tops to cast a cooling shadow over central.
